All interactions between students and teachers on the platform follow the general Terms & Conditions.

Purchasing Points

Are Point purchases refundable?

No. All Point purchases are non-refundable.

Payment deducted but Points not received

If your payment is deducted but the Points do not appear in your account:
• Your bank will usually reverse the transaction automatically within up to 14 days (often sooner).
• If the payment reaches us — typically within one business day — we will credit the Points to your account and send you a confirmation email.

When Teachers Contact Students

If a teacher uses Points to contact a student whose phone number is not verified, and the student does not open the message within 15 days, the Points used will be refunded automatically to the teacher.

When Students Contact Teachers

(Fair policy ensuring student protection)

When a student uses Points to contact a teacher, Teacher Link ensures the student is not disadvantaged if the teacher is unresponsive.
1. If the teacher does not open or view your message within 7 days, the Points you used will be automatically refunded.
2. If the teacher opens your message but does not reply within 7 days, Teacher Link will notify the teacher.
If they still do not respond, your Points will be refunded, and the teacher’s profile may be reviewed for inactivity.
3. If the teacher’s account becomes inactive, suspended, or removed, the Points used to contact them will be automatically refunded.

This system ensures that students never lose Points simply because a teacher is unavailable or unresponsive.

Payments Made Outside Teacher Link

If you choose to pay a teacher through an external method:
• Teacher Link cannot guarantee refunds for payments made outside the platform.
• You may contact our support team, and we will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee recovery of external payments

If the student does not open your message within 15 days and does not have verified contact details, you will receive your Points back automatically.

If they open the message but do not reply, no refund is issued.

Can I use Teacher Link without paying for Points?

Yes. You can still benefit from the platform:

Do Points expire?

No. Your Points remain in your account permanently until you use them.

How do I get paid?

You negotiate directly with the student or hiring client.
